hello.

The Macintosh (not Mac) was debuted 22 years ago today, January 24 1984, and started a new stage of Apple’s life. (e.g. iMac)

Think about it, where would we be without the Macintosh? The term, “Mac” has been derived from Macintosh, and is now used everywhere concerning Apple.

What I don’t get is why there was a magazine called “Macworld” announcing the “Macintosh”. You Mac users who have been Mac users longer than I am, here’s a question for you. Was there a Macworld before the Macintosh?

Apple published the first MacWorld magazine in conjunction with ZD Inc … before that it was Mac Publishing – a quasi publishing company that Apple owned and quickly sold off to a publisher when it took off

Also, the first issue of MacWorld was the one pictured. The magazine was created for the launch of the mac.
